My loved camera : CANON 5D MARK III

It is not the last to version of this camera but it is largely enough. I have no use of touch screen or wifi.

According to ISO, I allow myseflt to go up to 6400 no more.

Ultra Wide Angle : CANON 17-40 f4 L

Pretty lightweight and far cheaper than the 16-35mm

Wide Angle : CANON 24-105 f4 L

Very good and versatile lens. In case you do not know which lens to take, take this one.

I get in in a kit with the 5D MARK III

Long zoom : CANON 70-200 f4 L

It is the 1st "L" lens I ever get (on a 50D at that time), and what a shock it was. Quality with "L" lens is really higher than with other even without changing the camera.

Tripod :

For landscape or cityscape, this should be the 1st item to buy just after the camera with kit lens!

I 90% use the Manfrotto but there are areas like Skyscrapers where big tripods are forbidden. In that case, the GorillaPod can save you.

I have for a long time the remote infrared trigger. It works verywell, is cheap and allow to shoot without touching the camera.

I use the other one to shoot star trail by using the intervalometer.
